Alan Ardiff

To categorise Alan’s work as purely jewellery is incorrect - his small scale three dimensional work is found more in the form of beautiful, humorous sculpture which also happens to be wearable.

Created from silver, gold and semi-precious stones, his figurative pieces are precious, modern talismans; mini-theatres that tell stories both witty and wise. Movement plays an essential element in Alan’s work - his characters sway with kinetic energy as the wearer moves; wheels roll, stones rock, birds swing and flowers sway.

Working in Dublin, Alan uses traditional Irish metalwork techniques to create his work.
