Julie Bailey

In 1995 Julie embarked on a BA course in Fine Art Printmaking and passed with first class honours in 2001. Inspired to continue with the studying, Julie enrolled at Sheffield Hallam University in 2003 on a Masters Course in Fine Art.

Julie finds her printmaking an extension and evolution to her sketch book imagery. She uses the techniques of collagraph, chine colle, dry point and monotype. Experiments with colour at the point of proofing creates several unique prints before she produces a small edition.
