Emma Grover

Emma works in a variety of print media including etching, collagraph, screen and mono print. She also combines coloured tissue and printed paper with printed images using the ‘chine colle’ technique.

Emma's complex prints have a simple child like quality, which often belies the often quite 'dark' narrative content of the work. Emma's inspiration is derived from 'everyday things that happen'. She uses imagination to create her characters who are often repeated throughout her work. She often uses a grid structure with individual images in each section, each one a story in itself.
