Rick Henham

Rick works with a smooth stoneware clay thrown on a wheel. The loose design is inlcised into the body using a black or white satin glaze, fired and then smoothed off later.
 
Steering clear of fussy decorative effects, these spare minimalist pots though urban in their appeal also hint at veins in the rock, misty horizon lines and foam running over sand on the seashore.
