Hilke MacIntyre

Hilke lives and works on the East coast of Scotland. She creates in a variety of media; painting with acrylics, linocuts and ceramic reliefs with influences of 20th Century artists such as Paul Klee and Picasso.

This page shows examples of Hilke's linocuts which she prints in short editions. The design is cut into a series of lino blocks which are inked up and printed in turn, with a block or plate for each colour.
