James Newman

James’s work combines the experimental and minimal use of coloured precious metals, subtle finishes and highly crafted, clean, crisp designs.

Recently James has been working with state of the art industrial machining methods and this latest work demonstrates the application of these techniques to jewellery. The Echo pendant range is created using a spark erosion technique and then hand finished in a traditional way. The mens’ Mono range originates as a CAD wax profile which is then cast in silver and finished with enamel, gold plate or oxidised surface.
