Rosemary Wright

Rosemary discovered wood turning by accident in 1994. Since then she has changed from a career in biochemistry and is now a full time wood turner.

Her aim with her designs is balance, simplicity and purity of form. She works hard to produce individual designs with a WOW factor and a high quality finish. Rosemary favours British or temperate hardwoods such as sycamore, oak and ash. When available she also uses reclaimed or recycled woods such as iroko, mahogany, teak and wenge.

In 2007, Rosemary won the prestigious Tony Boase award at the Association of woodturners of Great Britain Biennial international woodturning seminar.
